David Roddy has signed with Hapoel!
American forward David Roddy has signed with Hapoel through the end of the 2026/27 season. "I'll do whatever it takes to help the team win and achieve all of our goals."
Hapoel "Midtown" Jerusalem Basketball Club is pleased to announce the signing of American forward David Roddy (25, 1.96m) through the end of the 2026/27 season.
Roddy joins Hapoel after four seasons in the NBA, bringing with him extensive experience from the world's top basketball league. The American forward was selected with the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft by Philadelphia on behalf of Memphis, where he began his NBA career. He later played for Phoenix, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Houston and Denver.
Last season, Roddy made five appearances for the Nuggets, averaging 8 points and 4 rebounds per game. Over four NBA seasons, he appeared in 181 games, averaging 6.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1 assist per game. He also played in the G League, where he averaged 14.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists across 53 games.
Roddy, who can play both forward positions, is a strong and intense player with excellent shooting and passing ability.
