First signing of the season: Jaleen Smith has signed with Hapoel!

During the 2024/25 season, Smith was one of the EuroCup's standout players with Turkish side Bahcesehir and was named to the All-EuroCup First Team. Last season, the guard played for Turk Telekom, where he was one of the team's leading players. In the Turkish league, he averaged 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1 steal per game, while in the EuroCup he averaged 13.3 points, 2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1 steal per game.

Jaleen Smith said after signing: "I'm happy and excited to join Hapoel Jerusalem. I want to thank Sasa Obradovic and everyone at the club for believing in me. I'm coming with a lot of motivation, and I'll do everything I can to contribute to the team's success and help us achieve our ambitious goals.
