Roy Paretsky Joining To Hapoel!
Hapoel “Bank Yahav” Jerusalem is happy to announce the signing of guard Roi Pritzky (22, 1.94m) for the upcoming season. Paretsky is the team’s first Israeli addition this summer and joins a strong core that includes Jared Harper, Khadeen Carrington, Yovel Zoosman, Roi Huber, Nimrod Levi, Austin Wiley, Justin Smith, and Gabi Chachashvili.
Paretsky is considered one of the league’s rising stars. He began his career with Elitzur Netanya and later stood out with Hapoel Be’er Sheva, winning the 2023 Israeli League Discovery of the Year award. Last season, he returned to Netanya and posted averages of 8.3 points, 4 assists, nearly 4 rebounds, and 1 steal per game. He also had standout performances with Israel’s U20 national team in 2022.
“Roy will add a lot of defensive toughness, and his offensive potential is sky-high,” said head coach Yonatan Alon. “Roi has size and skills that are hard to find in Israelis - or in general. I’m very happy he’s joining us, and I have no doubt our fans will enjoy watching a hungry and tough player who will do everything for the team’s success.”
Roy Paretsky said: “I’m very excited to join Hapoel. Being part of such a high-level team and such a great club is every young player’s dream. I hope to contribute in any way I’m asked, grow and develop, and of course, win as many titles as possible together with our amazing fans! I’m happy we’re joining forces now, and the sky is the limit. Yalla Hapoel!”
