Hapoel “Bank Yahav” Jerusalem is pleased to announce the three-year contract extension of Gabi Chachashvili, through the end of the 2027-2028 season.
In the upcoming season, Gabi will continue his rehabilitation process following a knee injury and is expected to return to the court at the start of the 2026-2027 season.
General Manager Dan Shamir said: “Gabi is part of the Hapoel Jerusalem family, and the decision to extend his contract is not only a professional one, but also a moral one. This is a clear statement that Hapoel Jerusalem will always stand by its players. We believe in Gabi, in his mindset, and in his ability to come back stronger and better. We will do everything we can to support him fully on his path back to the court.”
Gabi Chachashvili added: “I’m grateful to Hapoel for their belief in me and for the constant support, even during a difficult chapter in my career. Being part of a club that doesn’t judge you solely by what you can deliver right now, but sees the person behind the player and the long-term potential - that’s a huge privilege for me. I’m fully committed to doing everything I can to come back better, stronger, and to give my all for the club and for our amazing fans.”
