The Reds are coming: the MVP is in Israel!

Hapoel's aerial train is on its way!

Last season's MVP, Zach Hankins, landed in Israel today for the start of team training in the coming days.
Zach, along with his wife Ashley and their dog Dixie, landed at Ben Gurion Airport and joined dozens of Reds who came to greet them.

Zach said after landing: "We are very excited to return to Israel." The goals for next year? "Higher. We have a great team that continues for another year, along with our coach, so the goals are to be better. Championships, cups, everything." On the keys for next year: "We have a lot of good players here, a lot of talent, and we need to make sure that we stick to our method. Emphasize defense, present a good attack and maintain the identity that we started here last season." Zach, also mentioned the one thing he missed most in Jerusalem: a good plate of hummus. Obviously. The food here in Israel is really good and my wife and I liked it much more than we expected. Excited to return to it."
