The MVP is staying RED!

The MVP stays red! Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem is happy to announce the extension of Zach Hankins' contract for two more years. The brilliant Center, who was selected as the player of the season in the Premier League and in the top five of the season in the Champions League, will remain in Hapoel until the end of the 24/25 season.

Zach said: "Coach dzikic and Jerusalem gave me an opportunity to come here and show what I can do, even when some said my body wouldn’t let me compete at this level. This year, we did some very special things, but we also fell short of what we knew we could achieve. Hapoel is a special place. My wife and I love the community here in Jerusalem, and we felt so welcomed. The fans, the team, the culture being built in this organization…. everything seemed to fit my basketball journey. So with unfinished business and an opportunity to build on the successes of this season, I’m excited to announce I’m coming back to Jerusalem. YALLA HAPOEL!"

The coach of the team, Aleksandar Dzikic, said, "Zach is an important part of our team, and I am happy that he has decided to continue wearing the red jersey." Sports director Yonathan Alon added: "I am proud that Zach, who was one of the most prominent players in the league and in the BCL this year, continues with us for two more years.
