Hapoel Remains Unbeaten Across All Competitions!

Hapoel remained unbeaten in the EuroCup after Round 5, as Saša Obradovi?'s team secured a 90-83 road victory over French side Le Mans to maintain its perfect 5-0 record in Group A. In the next round, on November 4, the Reds will host Aris Thessaloniki, who will also enter the highly anticipated matchup with an unbeaten 5-0 record.

Scorers for Hapoel: Kenny Lofton Jr. 15, Devontae Cacok 14, David Roddy 13, Shake Milton 10, Yovel Zoosman, Ethan Burg and Jaleen Smith 8 each, Lorenzo Brown 7, Dušan Mileti? 4, Nimrod Levi 3.

A week after crushing Riga Zelli by 36 points, Hapoel faced a much tougher challenge against Le Mans. Obradovi?'s squad built a game-high 14-point lead during the second quarter following a three-pointer by David Roddy, but the French side refused to back down. Led by Jordan King, who scored 20 points while shooting 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, Le Mans erased the entire deficit and took a 67-65 lead heading into the final ten minutes.

Hapoel, which has already shown its character on more than one occasion this season, did so once again in Le Mans. After surrendering a 14-point advantage, the visitors opened the decisive fourth quarter with an 11-0 run led by Devontae Cacok, regaining control of the game.

The hosts later managed to cut the deficit to just one point following another of King's five three-pointers, but Roddy and Kenny Lofton Jr. made sure the victory would not slip away from the Reds.

Lofton Jr., not for the first time this season, led Hapoel's scoring with 15 points. Devontae Cacok added 14 points, including six during the decisive run at the start of the fourth quarter. David Roddy (13) and Shake Milton (10) were the other two Hapoel players to finish in double figures.
