Community ceremony: Itay Barkai

As part of the community activity of Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem, in memory of the late Ezra Balilius, we were pleased to host last night, in cooperation with the "Conforting Memory" association, 5-year-old Itay Barkai from Har Gila.

At the age of 3, Itay was diagnosed with a bladder tumor, underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatments in Israel and abroad, and is currently in an encouraging phase because the tumor has shrunk significantly.

Itay is a sociable, smiling, kind-hearted, and unusually sensitive boy. He likes to climb, jump, and play with cars, guns, and swords; on the other hand, he also builds puzzles and plays games that require thought and planning.

Today, Itay dreams of reaching space, becoming an astronaut, and at the same time participating in Ninja Israel. Itay, the Hapoel family wishes you complete healing and a speedy recovery!
