The Reds head into the semifinals full of confidence following an impressive start to their European campaign. Last Tuesday, Hapoel defeated Rostock 94-73 in Belgrade, leading for almost the entire game before pulling away in the second half to build an advantage of more than 20 points. Kenny Lofton Jr. led the way with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, and you simply can't take your eyes off him. Jaleen Smith added 20 points and 7 assists, while Shake Milton contributed 14 points and 6 assists.
Beyond the numbers, Hapoel displayed excellent team basketball, lockdown defense, dominance on the boards and significant contributions throughout the rotation. Now, the Reds return to Israel with an opportunity to carry the momentum from their European opener straight into one of the biggest matchups in Israeli basketball.

A joy to watch. Kenny Lofton Jr.
Maccabi, meanwhile, enter the matchup following a difficult start to their European campaign, having lost all three of their opening EuroLeague games, most recently falling 90-67 to Panathinaikos.
A heated, physical battle awaits, and we can't wait for it to get started.
Let's make some noise, Hapoel!
