The Lithuanian opponent, from Panev??ys, is eighth in the group with one game missing due to the cancellation of their match against Valencia last month because of floods. In their previous meeting, Hapoel traveled to Lithuania and recorded their first win in their renewed EuroCup run, a resounding 94-74 victory. Captain Yovel Zoosman led the way with 20 points, matching his personal career-high in European games, including shooting 5-of-6 from three-point range. Despite a shaky start that saw them fall behind by 13 points late in the first quarter, Hapoel raised their level and dominated the final quarter 34-18, denying the hosts a win.
Standout from the previous game against the Lithuanians: Captain Yovel Zoosman.
