After a perfect month without losses and nine consecutive wins in all competitions, Hapoel returns to the basics and continues its league season as it visits the Conch shell in Be’er Sheva tonight (Sunday) at 18:30, live on 5 Plus (Channel 56).

Yonatan Alon’s squad arrives after closing the first round of the regular EuroCup season last Thursday with an impressive 94-77 victory over Turkish Turk Telekom, after coming back from a double-digit deficit. Leading the red squad again was Jared Harper. The talented guard didn’t stop for a moment, scoring 35 (!) points and a rating of 38, while Kadine Carrington and Gabi Chachashvili led Hapoel to victory with 19 and 15 points respectively.

Be’er Sheva will be looking for its third league win of the season in the home coach’s first game back on the Conch shell sidelines since his return, after Be’er Sheva’s last round win over Elitzur Netanya 88-69, led by Oren Aharoni.
A standout in the Negev capital’s team is guard Iverson Molinar, who is averaging 19.2 points per game this season in 31.8 minutes.
