Hapoel currently stands in the EuroCup with a record of 6 wins and only 2 losses, with today’s game closing out the first round of the regular season in the competition. Before the break, the Reds managed a big 86-77 win over Bourg in Bulgaria. During the break, the team welcomed the point guard they needed, in the form of Tarik Phillip, returning for a second stint after a short period at the start of the 2020-21 season. While the foreign players enjoyed the break, our national team players traveled with the team and advanced to EuroBasket 2025, with the national team’s new naturalized player Khadeen Carrington scoring 16 and 18 points in two games. Deeno, Zoos, Gabi, and Noam returned home and rejoined the team, and now they are ready for the rest of the season.

Hot in the national team jersey: Carrington
The Reds will face a very familiar face tonight in the form of Speedy Smith, who left the club only at the beginning of this month after more than two seasons in red. The point guard played one game for the Turkish opponent, scoring 6 points in 21:51 minutes in his team’s loss to Venezia. Speedy will face for the first time those who were his teammates not long ago and will want to defeat them, while his team holds an even record of 4-4.
