Hapoel for the lone soldiers

The playoff series is in full swing, but Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem, in cooperation with the club's dedicated sponsors, did not give up on a welcome and important initiative, especially in these complex days. The club members joined dozens of fans who came to volunteer and pack hundreds of food boxes for about 1,400 lone soldiers from Jerusalem. Among the volunteers were also team players Gabi Chachashvilli and Trevor Lacey.
Head of Community Relations Irit Einav-Abramovich said: "This is the first time that the club initiates an event of this type that connects the team, business partners, community organizations and of course the fans - for the benefit of a common and blessed goal. We hope to start a new tradition here that will strengthen the close relationship between the team and the community ".
Gabi Chachasvilli said: "It's a long season that is full of proportions and there is no doubt that this event is an important event, for us the players, for the club and for the dozens of lovely volunteers who came here"
