A long season known for ups, downs and countless events is now reaching its peak. The goal of the red group is clear: a historic treble. Hapoel will start the quarter-final series against Holon tonight at 21:10 at the Arena. The series is included in the season ticket.

Throughout history, the teams have met in about 14 playoff games with the balance standing at 8:6 in favor of Holon. The last playoff series between the cup holder and Holon took place only two seasons ago, when the teams met for a semi-final series. The series reached the third game in the series, in order to explain how close it was, Holon scored one point more than Hapoel on average and led Hapoel by only one shooting percentage.
As well as the entire series as mentioned, the third game was close until the final seconds when the arena was almost full but in the game the team in purple beat the reds 80-77. Similar to the upcoming series, in the previous series between the teams, Hapoel arrived with the GM, then in the form of Yotam Halperin, coming down to the lines.
A tense series in the 2021/22 season
Hapoel and Holon enter the series after meeting only last Wednesday, also then at the Arena. The game was under the control of the Reds, who entered strongly into the offensive rebound with 16 of them while at the same time pressing the defense and causing the opponent to lose no less than 16 balls. Holon chased Hapoel throughout the game and even tried to get a little closer, but the Reds pressed on the gas and ran all the way to a convincing 94-76 victory. Hapoel will want to bring the ability from the previous game to the next game and the series that is getting closer, and to reach the semi-finals.
