Alex Tyus signed in Hapoel!

Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem is happy to announce the signing of Alex Tyus until the end of the season. The naturalized center is coming to Hapoel after an intense season in Runa from the VTB league.

Tyus (36, 2.03) is known to all Israeli basketball fans since he broke out in the Maccabi Ashdod uniform in 2011 through his periods with Maccabi Tel Aviv to being an important part in many Euroleague teams, including Anadolu Efes, Real Madrid, Galatasaray, and also last season with ASVEL. This season in the VTB league, he averaged 21.5 minutes, 7.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.
