Course of the game
1st Quarter
Hapoel opened the game with Speedy Smith, Or Cornelius, Levi Randolph, Oz Blayzer and Jacorey Williams. Both teams, who started without a natural Center, tried to get the ball inside the paint and exploit mismatches surgically. Levi Randolph, as a professional in the field, thus scored 5 points and together with Or Cornelius' tremendous defensive moves sent Holon to a timeout. Holon came back sharper from the time-out and turned the score up to a 3-pointer by Khadeen Carrington that returned the advantage to Hapoel, 17:13 red at the end of the first quarter.

2nd Quarter
Khadeen Carrington and Yovel Zoosman opened the second quarter with two consecutive baskets and doubled the Jerusalem advantage as Hapoel continued to press and stop Holon's attacks. The second quarter was characterized by longer attacks with both teams struggling to find the ring. Nimrod Levi who entered in the previous quarter for the first few minutes started to get used to Kantzouris' game but the difference remained quite stable. The purples with the help of Harvey narrowed the gap, but Chris Johnson made sure to maintain Hapoel's advantage with 33:32 for Hapoel.

Nimrod's debut
3rd Quarter
Holon started the second half with the upper hand and very quickly managed to gain a small lead at the expense of the Reds. The Jerusalemites had difficulty creating a sufficient offensive flow and therefore underestimated scoring in the first half of the quarter with correspondingly low shooting percentages. Nimrod Levi who scored first points broke the drought and together with Yovel Zoosman equalized the result with good work on both sides of the field. A timeout did not stop Hapoel and especially Zoosman who continued to excel in both defense and attack and set the score at 56:53 for Hapoel.

Zoos. Tremndous 3rd Quarter
4th Quarter
Hapoel started the last quarter with a relatively low lineup, which led Holon to try and put the ball inside Harvey. The purples' new acquisition ran into Khadeen Carrington, who is shorter than him at least in the head, but was met by an iron defense time and time again. Move after move Deeno forced tough shots and caused turnovers as he made sure to get the job done on the other end with great baskets. Holon returned to the rhythm, and mainly hardened their defense. Together with the mighty offensive moves of Harvey, the Purples managed to get back within a point of Jerusalem, a minute and a half before the end of the game. Crawford made 3 shots from the line, reversing the score, leaving the Reds with 18 seconds left, a point behind and the ball in hand. The Reds failed to score and at the end of the game the score is 73:72 for Holon.
