After an exciting, tight game with many twists and turns, Hapoel loses to Kiryat Ata City 76:74. An excellent game by Brynton Lemar (17 points) and Or Cornelius (14 points) was not enough for the Reds to take the victory, thus ending a streak of 8 victories. This is the team's sixth game in a row away from the home hall at Pais Arena, when on the fourth day the team goes to a "home" game at Alexander Nikolic Hall against Lenovo Tenerife.

Course of the game

1st Quarter

Hapoel opens the game with Speedy Smith, Orr Cornelius, Levi Randolph, Oz Blayzer and Jacorey Williams. Hapoel started a bit stuck in the attack, and allowed Kiryat Ata 2 easy dunks in a burst. A few minutes were enough for the Jerusalemites to get back to themselves and the rhythm they are used to, with two baskets from both corners of the court by Or Cornelius, who added a complex layup and important defensive moves. The game balanced out a bit, 3-pointers started coming out until Yovel Zoosman's 3-pointer broke the drought. At the end of the quarter - 23:16 for Hapoel.

2nd Quarter
Hapoel started the second quarter with a tighter defense, and thanks to this managed to increase the advantage very early in the quarter. Gabi Chachashvili who came off the bench gave good minutes with excellent moves on both sides of the field. Kiryat Ata moved to a zone defense and ran a 7:0 run that narrowed the gap to only 2 points, and sent Coach Kantzouris to a timeout. Both teams spent the rest of the quarter struggling to find the hoop, losing the ball frequently. At the end of the half - 36:34 to Kiryat Ata.

3rd Quarter
Kiryat Ata opened the quarter with the upper hand, and aggressive defensive moves increased the advantage to two positions. Orko broke the offensive drought with another 3-pointer from the corner, and Chachashvili did a good job in the paint and rebounding on both sides. Raz Adam and Guy Palatin kept Kiryat Ata in the lead, at least until Brynton Lemar's 3-pointer, which completely erased the deficit. Chris Johnson also entered the game, with tremendous Hassel moves in defense, and excellent finishes in attack, and at the end of the third quarter - 55:49 to Hapoel.

Pro in his work. Chris Johnson

4th Quarter
Hapoel started the fourth quarter exactly where it left off, with Brynton Lemar in the position of ball carrier and executor, when he made a three-pointer and helped Hapoel take a double-digit lead. Kiryat Ata did not despair, opened burners from her side, and cut the advantage in half. Unlucky shots and whistles, along with good defensive moves by Kiryat Ata, tipped the scales once more and reduced the difference to a complete tie. The final minutes were Hapoel's sign to wake up with Orko and Brynton increasing Jerusalem's advantage towards the end. Two minutes to the end, the northerners managed to tighten their defense, equalize the result and in the end also turn it around. Levi Randolph tried to score another victory basket but in the end - 76:74 for Kiryat Ata.

Brynton, wasn't enough
