Course of the game
1st Quarter
Hapoel started with the five with Speedy Smith, Or Cornelius, Levi Randolph, Oz Blayzer and Zach Hankins. The game opened with Hapoel's defensive softness, which allowed Herzliya to reach the paint time and time again, when two triples by Oz Blayzer and Levi Randolph equalized. The quarter continued at a high pace when Levi was the one who took the reins and rose within 5 minutes of play to 9 points, which seemed easy and simple, which sent Dan Shamir and Herzliya to a timeout. Chris Johnson who came in was a wonderful added value and took care of spectacular hustle moves, rebounding and fighting - which also translated into points. Hapoel's defense tightened, Lemar came in and scored 5 consecutive points, and at the end of the quarter - 27:18 to Hapoel.

2nd Quarter
The Jerusalem control continued at the beginning of the second quarter with the pair of guards, Speedy and Lemar brilliantly leading the job of managing the game. The Jerusalem defense also tightened and allowed Hapoel to run for quick and efficient passing attacks. At a certain point, the defense of the team from Sharon tightened, and Hapoel had a hard time getting into their attacks at the pace they wanted. The Herzleins took advantage of this, ran themselves and ran a 9:0 run. The entry of Zach Hankins into the game tipped the scales towards the Jerusalemites who were able to control excellently under the rings in attack and rebounding. 8 offensive rebounds in only half were enough to determine the result at the end of the second quarter - Red 45:36.

3rd Quarter
Herzliya swept the court at the start of the 3rd quarter with improved offensive ability and sharpness in every move, which led them to a 12:4 run at the start of the quarter and reducing the Jerusalem advantage to only one point. Hapoel tightened its defense but was unable to translate its attacks into points on the board, and in the end they lost the advantage. Brynton Lamar and Yovel Zoosman scored in 2 consecutive attacks, returning the advantage to Hapoel and sending Dan Shamir's apprentices to a timeout. The rest of the quarter was mainly characterized by a messy and scattered game, when a technical foul received by Yovel Zoosman woke up the arena and the team that regained the advantage towards the end of the quarter with a 7:0 run, with the score 66:61 for Hapoel, 10 minutes to the end of the game.

4th Quarter
Hapoel reached the fourth quarter with the aim of securing the victory as early as possible, as could be seen in the defensive intensity from the beginning of the quarter. The Reds pressed on the entire court and made it difficult for Herzliya to do anything that was limited to shots at the end of the clock, which caused Shamir to take an early timeout. Speedy Smith and Yovel Zoosman came out of this timeout very sharp, on both sides of the court, and showed very good qualities on both sides of the field that led to an 8:0 run and a double digit lead a few minutes to the end. Johnson drove the final nail when at the end - 81:65 for Hapoel.
