Hapoel continued its preseason preparation for the upcoming season with a friendly match against Hapoel Tel Aviv in Hadera. This game was the second between the teams in the past week, following the game played during the joint practice on Thursday. Once again, we witnessed an interesting matchup under the baskets between Austin Wiley and Jonathan Motley. Hapoel fell behind by double digits in the first quarter but came close to turning the game around several times, narrowing the deficit to just one point in the fourth quarter. The game ended with a narrow loss as Jared Harper missed a buzzer-beater. Hapoel will continue its preseason games, hosting Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan in Malha this coming Friday.
