Course of the game
1st Quarter

Hapoel opened the game with a quintet of Speedy Smith, Or Cornelius, Levi Randolph, Oz Blayzer and Zach Hankins. Zach Hankins started very sharp, being dominant under the baskets on both sides of the court and recording 4 quick points. McCrigal, the new player of Bnei Herzliya who came to her from Hapoel Haifa, left her a little in the game, but Levi Randolph with 5 consecutive points of his own shooting from a distance established the Jerusalem advantage. Zach's exit slightly opened up the paint for Herzliya who narrowed the gap with McCrigal and Randolph leading both sides. The Reds lost balls towards the end of the quarter and allowed the Herzleins to equalize the score and at the end of the quarter - 18:18.

2nd Quarter

The Reds started the second quarter properly with a tremendous poster dunk by Zach Hankins and a great three by Khadeen Carrington in transition that forced Dan Shamir and Herzliya to take a timeout. From the time-out, Herzliya came out well with Reggie Lynch in an explosive attack, but Chris Johnson returned the same Lynch with a basket on the other side. Zack continued to be dominant and once he got tired and went to the bench, Chris Johnson provided the output under the basket mainly with the help of Speedy Smith as a game manager. Herzliya, led by Workman and Benks, kept the game close and managed to mount an attack at a high level of efficiency. The teams continued to exchange baskets as the Reds tried to escape and at the end of the quarter a three-pointer by Levi Randolph determined the result of the quarter - 40:37 for Hapoel.
